Ron Taylor, age 72, died peacefully on February 21, 2020, at his home in Dawsonville, Georgia. Ron was born on May 4, 1947, in Nashville, Tennessee. Upon graduating high school, he proudly served in the United States Air Force for four years while being stationed in Okinawa during the Vietnam War. In 1975, Ron married Rosemary and soon after moved to Atlanta, Georgia where they built their life together. Ron retired in 2014 after having a successful career running his own computer consulting business.
Preceded in death by his twin brother Don, Ron is survived by his mother, Ruth Roach; his wife of 44 years, Rosemary; his children Alex (Lindsay) and Jessica; and his grandchildren Emma and Charlie.
Besides spending time with his family and friends, Ron had a passion for traveling, playing golf, watching Tennessee football, volunteering at his church, and loving on his dog Bailey. He touched many lives with his generosity and passion for life and will be remembered by his enormous heart and contagious laugh.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 11:00 am at Browns Bridge Community Church in Cumming, Georgia.
