Rocky Rae Barron

Rocky Rae Barron, age 3, daughter of Jay Dee and Cadie Ryals Barron, of Dahlonega, Georgia went to her Heavenly Home on Thursday, July 13, 2023 following a tragic accident.

Rocky Rae was an unexpected blessing from God, born January 15, 2020 in Gainesville, Georgia. Despite being on this earth only a short while, she made a major impact. She was a vivacious, loving, spunky, kind-hearted, and independent precious princess. Her beautiful blue eyes sparkled behind the longest eyelashes and her smile shone with a love for life and laughter. She loved to play outside with her older siblings, parents, and all five pets. Being the princess she was, Rocky was always dressing up, dancing, and singing to her baby dolls. She was loved and cared for by Dahlonega Country Day Academy during the school year. Rocky attended Bethlehem Baptist Church, of Dahlonega, and Antioch Baptist Church, of Mt. Airy during her lifetime.

In addition to her parents, Rocky is survived by her brother, Eoin Barron, and sister, Charlie-Belle Barron; paternal grandparents, Dewan Earl Barron and Deborah Ann Barron of Martin, Georgia; maternal grandfather, Larry Ryals of Clarkesville, Georgia; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Glenda Bell Ryals, who welcomed her in Heaven to meet the Jesus Rocky loves.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at the Dahlonega Funeral Home, 20 Gibson Road, Dahlonega, Georgia

The family will also receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel. 

The Funeral Service will follow at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Rev. Larry Ryals and Rev. Michael Rodgers officiating. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens.
