Michael Owen Witt was a man who lived an extraordinary life in 59 short years, given a mind that most would be jealous of; a mind for problem solving and adventure. Michael served proudly in the United States Army; and was involved in a life altering accident in 1984; which left him in a state of re-learning to walk, talk and live. Michael being so self-determined and strong survived the odds he was given at a young age. Michael took those odds built a good life with two beautiful children and three beautiful grandchildren. Michael is also survived by three siblings: Ronald J. Witt of Dawsonville, Georgia, Geoffery Witt and wife Kirsten Witt and their children, of Roy, Washington and Laura Riebold of Dawsonville, Georgia. As well as his parents Ronald J. Witt Denver, Colorado and Linda L. Riebold of Dawsonville, Georgia. Michael was preceded in death by his sister Melissa Riebold in 2017 and by both sets of grandparents.
