Obituary

Mrs. Julie “Mildred” Reeves, age 78, of Dahlonega Georgia passed away on Saturday April 8, 2023. Mildred was born on February 23, 1945, in Dahlonega Georgia, to the late Bob and Madgie (Rider) Hicks.

Mildred was a native of Lumpkin County and a long time employee of the Pine Tree for 30 plus years, where she was honored to become the 1st female supervisor.  Mrs. Reeves enjoyed reading, watching movies, and porch sitting. She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Mildred is proceeded in death by her husband Billy Reeves; her brothers; Robert Hicks, Woodrow Hicks, Ralph “Buster” Hicks, Alexander Hicks, and Roger Hicks; as well as her sisters, Pauline Pendley and Bernice Hicks.

Mildred  is survived by her daughter and son in law Karen & Scott Bryan; her grandchild, Chase Bryan (Lorin); great grandchildren; James and Raelyn Bryan; sisters Lorene (Bob) Parker, Faye Martin, and Wanda Miller.  Numerous other relatives also survive.

Mildred’s wishes were to be cremated with no services.
