Obituary

Jimmy Ray Garrison, age 70 of Dahlonega, passed away at home on November 21, 2022. 
  Jimmy was retired from the United States Navy as a Fire Control Weapons Specialist serving during during Desert Storm. 
Mr. Garrison is preceded in death by his brother Gerald Garrison.
 Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Jimmie L. Garrison; his four daughters, Crystal Garrison Epps (Dustin), Jessica Corbin (David), Jennifer Wooten (Tony), and Janah Owens; sisters, Pam Johnson (Tony) and Donna Garrison, sister in law Cindy Garrison; eight grandsons, Tucker and Tanner Epps, Samuel and Patrick Bishop, Kameron Corbin, Owen, Luke, and Brooks Wooten. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive as well as his beloved Labrador Ducky. 
 Jim’s heart was for those struggling with addiction and he spent 20 years helping others in that area.  He will always be remembered for his great sense of humor, unconditional love, and his profound devotion for God, Country, and Family
