Obituary
Mr. Jamey Lee Walker, 49, of Dahlonega, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.
Born in Lakeland, Florida to the late Tonney Lee Walker and Brenda Diane Whitfield Walker, Jamey grew up in Lee, Florida, but called Dahlonega home since 1998. Known for his country-style cooking, Jamey enjoyed making big meals and hosting friends and loved ones at his table to feast.
In addition to Jamey’s father, he is preceded in death by niece, Carrie Johnson, and nephew, Stormie Johnson.
Jamey is survived by his mother, sister Linda McMullen (Edwin) of Lee, Florida, brother Danny Walker (Retha) of Jennings, Florida, sister Kelly Walker of Lee, Florida, sister Lori Blackman (Robert), of Lee, Florida, and special friends Fannie Stephens, Jonathan Grindle, and Anthony Pruitt, all of Dahlonega. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
A celebration of life will be held later in the summer.
