Obituary

George David Hirst, born on December 31, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to father William Henry Hirst and mother Anna Arlene Stutzman, peacefully entered eternity on March 16, 2022.  George married Susann Rilla Ross on April 12, 1991.
In 2002, they made Dahlonega, Georgia, their home.  He is survived by his older brother William Hirst, 
four sons and ten grandchildren.
George joyfully and faithfully served his Lord and the body of Christ.  Someone once wrote to George,
‘I feel like you were placed here in Dahlonega with the saints… to promote our progress and joy in believing!  Thank you, brother.  Be encouraged and don’t grow weary!’  
Indeed, THANK YOU brother, 
friend and father for not growing weary.  However, it is time for 
‘the gain of eternity’s glory’.
Rest in Peace.  We’ll join you soon.  
We are so thankful for you.
We love you.
